MY INTERVIEW WITH NATALIE GOLBA
Q1. What did you want to be growing up?
I wanted to be a ballerina. I studied in ballet school and for quite some time that was my dream.
Q2. Over the years has there been anything you’ve done up to this point that has really made an impact in your life or helped your transformation?
I don’t think there is one transformational thing that changed my life overnight. I think it’s the consistent work I’ve done day in and day out. The growth over the years has been a continuous work in process so that I never give up on myself. Consistency is the key to everything and that’s what I believe in. The time has changed, the the things that we’re discussing right now, no one would care about 10, 20 or 30 years ago. Societies across the globe are different and we are seeing a lot of positive movements with what people are thinking and care for. A principal I live and believe is:
“Your reality will change and increase with the thoughts and vibration that you bring into this world”
Q3. Can you give a sample of what you teach your nutrition clients?
In my case when I am teaching and supporting my nutrition clients, I inform them upfront that change doesn’t happen overnight and what they do day-to-day for their self development and growth. Also their mindset will play a big part in the process, which will help them stick with the plan and not go back to the same way they were.
Since I’m a nutrition expert, I guide my clients through the tools to change their perception with ways of preparing their food, eating choices, health, fitness and personal development techniques. In the beginning of any journey the way you think will be a game changer. With my support, I incorporate practices that can assist in changing the way my clients feel about themselves and what they think about. This is a priority for them to make each area of their life better, not just in health and nutrition.
Q4: What is your current exercise routine or daily practice?
In my life, exercise is a must….
I exercise five times a week which is Monday through Friday. I do like a little more freedom on Saturday and Sunday’s so workouts are optional. If I don’t have a lot of time or even only 30 minutes, I make it a point to sweat or stretch to do something to take care of my body. I enjoy taking walks in nature from time to time for a change in atmosphere.
Q5: What helps you focus on you daily activities or to do list?
Definitely having a consistent schedule helps me focus and complete my work thoroughly. This helps me not spend too much time on one task and if for some reason I cannot finish it, I’ll move it to the next day if needed. We all have circadian rhythm that naturally occur in cycles within our bodies that support our wellbeing. I make it a point to plan my activities by applying systems/schedules in order to have more daily control and peace. Here are a few examples: I wake at the same time daily, create content for certain amount of time, I answer phone calls and send emails at designated time and not just when they come in, move priority items up to the top or delay a few days if needed. This helps with anxiety management and to not rush anything.
Q6: Where do you get your updated information from when learning about nutrition and science behind the nutrition?
I constantly keep up with the latest studies in health and wellness. Education is one of the biggest passions of mine. At the moment, I’m completing my Medicinal Plants Certification from Cornell University. The power of plants truly fascinates me and studies are constantly evolving.
