THE ALEXANDRA MACK INTERVIEW
Q1. What did you want to be growing up?
-I spent my entire childhood wanting to be a Veterinarian. I have always had a deep love for animals and wanting to help them (and still do!), that being a Vet just made sense. But the idea of having to see sick animals every day also terrified me, so I ultimately changed my mind.
Q2. What is your favorite part of modeling?
-That’s a tough one. But I would have to say that I love how every single job is an adventure. It’s always a different studio, a different part of town, a different state, a different country. Not to mention a brand new crew of amazing and inspiring people you get to meet, sights you get to see, and catering you get to try. Every single day is different and it keeps you on your toes, its really challenging; I love that.
How about being an athlete?
-I loved being a competitive athlete because it taught me how to harness that drive to get better, work harder and to put your best effort forward. I have a pretty competitive side to me (what athlete doesn’t?), and I love that camaraderie on the field/on the track. You learn a lot as an athlete!
Q3. Please share with our tribe of Women, one piece of advice you have received which has helped you throughout your journey?
-If you want something, you have to work for it. You have to really want it. Whether it’s making a career change, going back to school, making a big move; you can have or be whatever or whoever you want, you just have to take that first step, get a little outside of your comfort zone, and make a change.
Q4. What are you currently working on? Any future collaborations you want to share for 2017?
-I’m just working on garnering a social media following to hope to inspire women to follow their dreams, to live a healthy lifestyle, to be their best selves. Otherwise, I am just continuing on my journey and spreading as much love as possible
xo,
Anna
