Jessica is like That Girl, she is so comfortable & confident in herself that nothing fazes her because she is her own radiant woman. What is so amazing to me, she has a natural way of always being organized & focused, totally loving every moment of it! No matter what she is involved in, she rocks it and inspires others along the way.
Not to mention, always has her precious family put together!
This is what you call “Empowerment” she also has a community of warrior goddesses that support one another no matter what 🖤🥂🍾 That is so important and I believe 100% that when we rise our Tribe Rises or Squad or Girl Gang Rises. Episode # 43
Blog Feature: December 15, 2019
Q1. What did you want to be growing up?
I wanted to be a famous singer, which is really funny, because I’m tone deaf, lol. Hey, a girl can dream!
Q2. You have done so many outstanding things in your life could you briefly tell us all how you have gotten to this point in your life?
I can honestly say that I had to work for everything that I have. It was hard at times with this industry as you can imagine but having the support of my husband of 15 years and the ability to keep going even when I was told NO. I am beyond grateful for the life we’ve built!
Q3. Give us 5 fun facts people might not know about you?
- I know sign language.
- I was born in Hawaii.
- I was on a few episodes of Two and a Half Men.
- I was fired from my first job, at Dairy Queen, after my first day.
- My husband has an identical twin brother
Q4. What is one of your most treasured accomplishments?
My two babies, Sophie & Jake.
Q5. What is your favorite quote?
“Don’t sweat the small stuff”
I literally live my life by this quote, and repeat it to myself at least 20 times a day lol.
Q6. Do you have a morning ritual? What are your precious little ones ritual?
All three of us wake up at 7am, turn on either Moana or My Little Ponies, I make myself a cup (or two) of coffee, I feed Jake, and make Sophie’s breakfast, every morning!
Q7. What motivates you? Do you have a strategy or secret to get inspiration for your blog?
My kids and the new moms that I have met motivate me. I’m absolutely loving the mom space and I want to contribute what I know. My inspiration comes from my daily life, some great and some challenging moments, but in the end I wouldn’t want it any other way.
Q8. Over the years, do you believe there is some sort of pattern or formula to becoming successful? Please share with our tribe of Women, one piece of advice you have received which has helped you throughout your journey up to this point?
I don’t want anyone to think I have had it easy. My advice is when you feel defeated which I have, you have to believe in yourself and know there is a plan but to get there, you have to work hard and be your own boss. You have to tell yourself to get it done and know that no one else will fight for you as hard as YOU can. This is exactly what I did in the beginning and yes it took focus, time and effort, but now I’m able to share my experiences with other moms everywhere. Also the relationships and connections I have formed over the years and being apart of such an amazing support group means the world to me.
Q9. You wear so many hats love, as a Beautiful women, mom, wife, business owner, host, blogger, investor and list goes on, how do you handle workload stress and juggle it all?
To be honest, I really don’t, lol. I live off coffee and life is definitely hectic, but I love the hustle. I love to be busy and multitask, so I truly believe that’s the only way I’ve been able to handle it all. A nice glass of wine at the end of the day helps too
Q10. If you could talk to one woman from history, who would it be and why?
Princess Diana. I’ve always admired her. She was such a wonderful person inside and out and an incredible role model to women everywhere.
Q11. How do you keep your body in such amazing shape?
Chasing a toddlers around and hot yoga!
Q12. Where can we follow you?
