MY INTERVIEW WITH KIM FENOGLIA

Q1. What did you want to be growing up?

A Fashion Designer!  Didn’t happen, but I did work fashion retail while going to school and then after graduation as well.  Then after a few years I decided to change and get into computer software and there I spent a little over 20 years working my way up the corporate ladder, traveling to customer sites all across the globe, still loving fashion but as a business woman now.  When I quit working, haha,  I decided to get back to those dreams and open an online boutique.  It has been so fun and rewarding and now I have a space in a brick and mortar as well.

Q2. Tell us about you:

Independent, headstrong 50 yr old woman who has a passion for helping women find a style that makes them feel great and look great.

Q3. What is one of your most treasured accomplishments?  

I was diagnosed with Uterine Fibroids about 9 years ago and was told by multiple OB-GYN’s that the best option was a hysterectomy.  Well, I thought there had to be a better solution so as my symptoms progressed and become worse and worse, I started my own research.  Turns out I found Dr. John Lipman here in Atlanta at the Atlanta Fibroid Center and his Uterine Fibroid Embolization procedure that changed everything for me.  Since my procedure, I have been involved in helping him spread the word about UFE through articles with The Society of Interventional Radiology and now The US News and World Report. Q4. Tell how you process work load stress or personal stress or just to much coming at you at one time? 

Exercise and a list for everything!

Q5. What advice would you give to someone looking to just start their business? 

Don’t wait for everything to be perfect, just start!

Q6. Do you have any beauty secrets that you swear by? 

Drink 90 oz of water a day and never go to bed with your makeup on.

Q7. If you could speak to one woman from history, who would it be?

Gabriella Bonheur Chanel – Coco Chanel – timeless, classic and iconic all at once.

Q9. Tell us your favorite part about owning your boutique? 

Curating each collection for my customers based on their style and my own.  Helping them put items together that they feel beautiful in!
